Servant's Outdoor Toilet
One unique features of the in the Carriage House is a working, flush "toilet" designed to be used by servants or a gardener.

The toilet (click on image above for larger view) has a seat that automatically stays in the "UP" position.

To use the toilet, one lowers the seat.  When pressure is released on the seat, the seat automatically flips to the UP position and this action flushes the toilet.
