Foyer - tower and staircase
Upon entering the house through the
front double doors with
leaded glass transom, one immediately experiences the regal beauty of
this Queen Anne Victorian. A dramatic stairway with original
trim, double newel posts and wainscoting
sweeps up all three floors.
The round tower nook in the
foyer is lighted by three windows and ideal for piano or small sitting
area. |

Courting Parlor 17 X 12
Small parlor located immediately off the foyer has fireplace and an
entrance into the main
parlor or living room. Both entryways have six paneled, hard
wood, original pocket doors. |

Living Room - 20 X 15
The living room also has a fireplace and a 3 bay window looking
into the shaded side of the yard. An entrance to the
screened in front porch
also is located in the living room. |

Dining Room 20 X 15
Large, well lit dining room with
period light fixture, fireplace and 3 windows in bay style
overlooking side garden. Stunning trim - very roomy. |

Breakfast Room 12 X 10
The breakfast room lies just off the kitchen and has an outside
door with leaded glass transom. The is also a utility room and
half bathroom located off the breakfast room with a trap door that leads to
the basement. The basement is partially under the house with a
concrete floor and is DRY. Originally, the basement was used for
cooking by servants. Chandelier in Breakfast Room does not convey. |
Kitchen 15 X 15
Gourmet style with a country feel, this modern kitchen with windows
overlooking two sides of the house and gardens has been completely
remodeled - with everything replaced. Updated plumbing, fixtures, and
custom - made cherry wood cabinets with the sink in a center island
make this kitchen easily workable for the busy cook or gourmet chef.
Built in hutch and corner desk are just part of the unique features of
the kitchen Appliances include Dishwaser, Disposal, Microwave,
Electric Oven / Range (5 months old), Range hood, Washer, Dryer,
Freezer, Refrigerator / ice maker / water dispenser (AS IS).
There is a doorway that opens to a back staircase in the kitchen
and a door that leads outside to a screened in porch. The porch
off the kitchen has a working
sink and freezer. |

Second and Third Floors
There are 5 bedrooms on the second floor and three full bathrooms (one off
the master bedroom creating a Master Suite). Master bath has tub
with whirlpool jets. Each bedroom have had ample closets added and are
well lit due to the bay style windows of the Queen Anne architecture.
The second floor also has a
round tower
nook, ideal for a small office or sitting area.
The stairway continues to wind up to the third floor attic.
This area is completely floored with two complete bedrooms and ample
storage area. The bedrooms originally were servants quarters.
Rough plumbing has already been added to assist the process of adding
a third floor bathroom.
Third floor does not currently have heating. |
